Memberships

Your PhysioPulse website enables visitors to become website members. Depending on your preferences, website members can be given a variety of benefits. Also, depending on benefits you prefer to offer, visitors can be encouraged to become a member of your website to be able to access those benefits.

Note: We can disable membership functionality for your website entirely if you wish.

Becoming a member

It is easy and free for visitors to become a member of your website. There are 4 ways a visitor can become a member of your website:

  1. Self-subscribe using the online form on your website (using the Login / Become a member tab at the top of your website).
  2. Self-subscribe using the “I’d like to become a website member” checkbox when user is submitting an Appointment request or an Enquiry form.
  3. Added by the website administrator using the Admin Console
  4. Mass-importing a list.

Note: When a visitors self-subscribe as a member, they will need to verify their intent by clicking a link provided in an email sent to them. This is called “double-opting” and it prevents people from subscribing unsuspecting people to your website as a member.

Membership benefits

  • Access to member-only material on your website.
  • Regular newsletters from your clinic.
  • Access to member-only offers from your clinic.
  • Ability to request special topics of interest.

Access to member-only material

By default, the “Member articles” content library available on your website are reserved for those visitors who are members and logged in. Visitors are given the opportunity to access a large library of health and wellbeing related material via the Member articles library, so are encouraged to become a member to view them.

Regular newsletters

As a part of your PhysioPulse subscription, we create regular newsletters on your behalf. By default, the contents of the newsletter are the excerpts and links to the contents newly added to your website. The recipient (website member) can click through to the new content on your website easily from your newsletter.

Newsletters and any other special offer mailout sent by you are delivered to the recipients’ inbox.

Access to member-only offers

While you can add as many of your own pages to your website as you need, you can also flag any of these pages as member-only access. If you have a special promotion that you would like to present your website members, you would simply create your page containing the offer and protect this page so that only logged-in members can view the contents.

Requesting topics

Logged-in members can request special topics of interest that they would like to read about. As a part of your PhysioPulse subscription, we monitor these requests and use them to plan and write new material for inclusion into our content libraries. This is a good way to ensure that readers find the material useful.
